ઓડિશાના પુરીમાં આજથી જગન્નાથ રથયાત્રા શરૂ થવા જઈ રહી છે. ભગવાન જગન્નાથ, બલભદ્ર, સુભદ્રાના ત્રણેય 45 ફૂટ ઊંચા રથ તૈયાર છે. 200 થી વધુ લોકોએ તેમને ફક્ત 58 દિવસમાં તૈયાર કર્યા છે. કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહમંત્રી અમિત શાહ આજથી અમદાવાદના જગન્નાથજી મંદિરમાં શરૂ થનારી રથયાત્રામાં ભાગ લેશે. તેમની સાથે ગુજરાતના મુખ્યમંત્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલ પણ જોવા મળશે.

રથયાત્રા દરમિયાન 23 હજારથી વધુ સુરક્ષા કર્મચારીઓ તૈનાત કરવામાં આવશે. પહેલીવાર, ભાગદોડ ટાળવા માટે AI આધારિત મોનિટરિંગ સિસ્ટમ વિકસાવવામાં આવી છે. તે જ સમયે, રથયાત્રા પશ્ચિમ બંગાળના નવા બનેલા જગન્નાથ મંદિરથી શરૂ થશે, જેમાં આવનારા ભક્તોએ એક કિલોમીટરના શોભાયાત્રા માર્ગ પર બેરિકેડ પાછળ ઊભા રહેવું પડશે. તેમને રથના દોરડા ખેંચવા માટે રસ્તાઓ પર આવવા દેવામાં આવશે નહીં.

ભગવાન જગન્નાથના મુખ્ય રથનું નામ નંદીઘોષ છે. તેને ગરુડધ્વજ અથવા કપિધ્વજ તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. ભગવાન બલભદ્રના રથને તાલધ્વજ કહેવામાં આવે છે, અને દેવી સુભદ્રાના રથને દેવદલન અથવા દર્પદલન તરીકે ઓળખવામાં આવે છે.
